Just For Guys: 3 Ways to Motivate Yourself to Get in Shape
Life is busy, and when you’re a guy who works full time with an active social life, it can be difficult to motivate yourself to take the time to get in shape. Perhaps you’ve been feeling like you wanted to make a change in your weight or in how you look, but you’re just not sure how to get started. If that sounds familiar, we have three things you can do to motivate yourself.
1. Hang out with friends who work out – If you spend a lot of time with friends who enjoy sitting around, watching football and drinking beer, you’re not going to be motivated to make a change. Use peer pressure to your advantage, and hang out with friends who regularly hit the gym.
2. Choose to participate in a sport you love – No one wants to work out when they hate what they’re doing, so pick a sport you’ve always wanted to try, or that you loved to play when you were younger.
