With the warm weather on its way, you might be thinking about getting into shape to make sure you look great in your bathing suit this season. There are many great belly blasting exercises out there to help you tone your stomach so that you’re ready for summer. For all of these exercises you’ll begin in a pushup position, but these aren’t your “everyday” pushups!

The Plank

The plank has a few variations to target different areas. To do it, get into position, but balance on your forearms instead of on your hands. Hold the position for as long as you can. To vary this exercise, do it on each side, stacking your legs, and holding yourself so that your body faces the wall.

The Walkout

For this exercise, slowly walk your hands out away from your body as far as you can, then walk them back. To make it harder, lift one foot off the floor.

The Alligator Drag

You’ll need plenty of room to move – at least ten yards. Using only your hands, walk to the end of your area, dragging your feet behind you, but keeping them together. Rest a little, and then alligator drag back to where you started.
